The course describes the general approach to health risk assessment, including the role of atmospheric monitoring, the selection of the appropriate equipment to measure specific airborne contaminants, and the devising a suitable sampling strategy.
The candidate will be able to perform a health risk assessment involving monitoring the atmosphere, selecting appropriate equipment to measure airborne contaminants, planning sampling strategy, and results interpretation to comply with relevant legislation and ensure the health and safety of individuals.
