American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) is one of the largest international associations serving OEHS professionals practicing industrial hygiene and is a resource for those in large corporations, small businesses, and independent consultants.
Founded in 1939, AIHA is a nonprofit organization devoted to achieving and maintaining the highest professional standards for its members. More than half of our nearly 8,500 members are certified industrial hygienists (CIHs) and many hold other professional designations. AIHA administers comprehensive education programs that keep occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) professionals current in the field of industrial hygiene.
Together with our members, we continue creating knowledge to protect worker health in our pursuit of eliminating workplace illnesses.
SKC is the world leader in sampling technologies and a primary manufacturer of quality air sample pumps, accessories, sorbent tubes, sample bags, passive samplers, and filters for occupational and environmental health and safety professionals. Industry professionals know they can rely on SKC - Support, Knowledge, and Choice.
As a sponsor of OHTA, SKC and its global sales network will loan air sampling equipment for training courses when available. Requests for loan of equipment should be sent to Andy Bragg, National Sales Director for SKC Inc. at email@example.com. Alternatively, requests can be made to the local SKC distributors. Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH)
The Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) was established in 1980 and is the peak organisation representing professionals working in occupational hygiene in Australia. Membership of AIOH is open to both professional occupational hygienists and to those with an interest in worker health protection and a healthier work environment. It is the largest organisation representing occupational hygienists with over 1000 members.
Our key platform is to improve the practice of occupational hygiene, through knowledge, competence and standing of its practitioners.
The AIOH is an inaugural member, and ongoing supporter, of the OHTA and has continued to offer professional development through courses, seminars, webinars and conferences for members. Our professional development commitments ensures continuous improvement to protect worker health.
OHTA is grateful for the support of sponsors in enabling us to continue our work.
